Constitution

Box Hill Historical Society has had a number of Constitutions since its inception in 1963. In 2012 the Victorian Government required all incorporated associations to comply with new legislation that had been passed.

After consideration by members, it was agreed that we would adopt the Model Rules supplied by the Government, with the addition of a more detailed list involving our Purposes. This proposal was passed by the membership in July 2013 and formally approved by Consumer Affairs Victoria on 23 December 2013.
