This document, a Lodged Plan, is one of hundreds of documents we have found and downloaded in the past two years, as part of the research into our book on the origins of local street names. This particular Plan shows not only the layout of the streets, but how allotments of various sizes were incorporated into it. It also notes when there was a change in the name of a street. The handwritten numbers inside the allotment numbers are a reference to the person who purchased that land. The reference number can be found on a Certificate of Title, and this is the majority of records that we have downloaded, printed out and indexed into a database. That database, of over 8,000 entries, will be uploaded to this website once we have completed research on the book.
